Pelican sells them. Go to the new parts catalog, suspension parts and use the suspension wizard.

I think the replacement is a two piece "urethane" piece. My understanding of the way the 911 strut works this may be a bad idea, it needs to be able to "rock" in there, the urethane is very stiff.

I heard that the stock rubber cannot be replaced, mine popped out a while back and it does not look like there is any way to get a new one in. Its hour glass shaped. I bought a good used one from a recycler for $25.

I think its time for you to get some monoballs!! A perfect excuse.

I'm considering that but the cost is daunting and I've heard things about clunkiness in the front end after installation - something about not having any rubber to absorb shocks.

My car thanks you!

So I'm to assume you've got the monoballs in your car? Did you notice any difference in the feel of the car?

The car is going to be street driven with only an occasional AX thrown in.

my work included elephant bearings also, and bilsteins and the list goes on, and on. mines a street car with only maybe an autocross here and there. looking back now I believe that big chunk of change was worth it.
I can only say that the ride is more quiet, more smooth, very responsive to the road. you feel everything, but in a very good way. Except for the crappiest of roads.
good luck with your project

Well here's what I'm doing. Torsion bars replaced with 22/28 sway-a-ways. Both my struts were slightly bad so I'm replacing them both with good ones that I got from a Porsche mechanic friend of mine. Bilstein sports are being put on all four corners. Neatrix rear springplate bushings and front A-arm bushings from our host. Turbo tie rods. Rennline strut tower brace (2 point). New ball joints. And apparently now, new strut mounts. Finally, the car will be lowered a little to just below Euro ride height.

So you've got Elephant Racing products all around?
