Sway bars Which way to go

Latley I have been selling many parts to fellow Pelicaners ( what do we call computer bound gearheads?). Time to spend some of that cash, Im thinking sway bars. I have NO experiance with Porsche sway bars, very little with the suspension at all. Thanks to our gracious host I have done some searches and feel comfortable with installiation but what to install? My SC is street driven almost daily so I dont need race ready but I would like more support. If we could lets stick to what Pelican offers so I can order them from here. Keep the money in the family as it were.
Let me know what you guys think a good set up would be.
Thanks.
Mike

I've had Charlie Bars front/rear on my SC for the last 6 years and they have been great.

If you want to buy from Pelican the Tarret bars look similar... but no personal experience with them.

If you want to go cheap, then get the thicher late Carrera bars. I found my set for around $100.

If you need adjustable sway bars then the Tarret bars seem like a good way to go for the money.

I agree with Anthony:

1. SRP has the best jewelry -- how much do you want to spend?

2. Next would be the Tarrets. Also seem a bit lighter than SRP.

3. Then...

4. With the low cost solution the late Carrera bars.

Mike,
Your SC already has the factory bars. Instead, I'd suggest installing larger torsion bars. I think you'll derive more bang-for-buck with them. In addition, you get to adjust ride height as well as well as corner balance and alignment while you're at it - all paths leading to better handling.

If I had to suggest a street-driven sway bar, I'd go with Weltmeister. The aftermarket brands mentioned are nice but are probably twice the price (front/rear). They're beautifully made, but IMHO, not that much of a performance difference to justify for a street-based car. BTW, even the factory race cars did fine with the factory bars (they also had larger torsion bars).
