Clear Tail light Lenses

Does anyone have source for 911 clear tail light lenses?.
I received a pair of front clear turn signal lenses as a gift from Stuttgart Performance. They do not carry the rear clear lenses.
For a 78 SC.

Thanks in Advance

The stock Us lenses are red and clear.. close as you'll get.. the euro lenses do have some yellow in them... There is not enough demand for that now...maybe someone could make them up for you.. You might like the 911 R taillamps. Check those out. For sale on this site too! I would say most people on the board let form follow function. If it looks good it also drops an ounce or a few pounds or works better.. Not sure what style you were looking for but, the closest thing to rice is when most of us slowly make these in to street legal or stock class race cars.
But Porsche owners make sure it actually helps.
Rice, oddly enough, is a cheap filler when the real food is not plentiful...So no rice with Porsche but strudel...lol

I think I am going to end up making a pair with a matching clear center reflector. All with a mirror background. That project is down the road a bit though.

Thanks,

Someone posted a web site link a while ago that sold the clear rear lens.
It began with the "Renn"

I bought the Euro lenses (amber/red) from Pelican. Really nice pieces and they make my 911 look different from all the US spec (all red in the rear) 911's that I see.

One thing about clear taillights... they may or may not be legal where you live. I have been told that if you have red reflectors somewhere on the back of your car, the clear lenses are OK. That's how Lexus can sell an SUV with clear taillights.

I know- I hate ricer's too.

The clear lens for the rear is red at the brake light area only and clear wrapping around the side. It actually looks good with silver.

Don't worry no 5 inch diameter coffee can exhaust on my SC !!

"Rice, oddly enough, is a cheap filler ..."

- Rice used to be reserved for the top castes in some asian societies. The commoners were not allowed to eat it - they had to eat millet. BTW, millet is the small round stuff in really cheap birdseed. Put some out and you'll see the birds swing their beaks side to side to toss it out and leave only the good stuff.

The renn... place is rennspd.com - Peter is the guy. I just bought FG R lid and R bumper from him - both look pretty good - just a bit of waviness along part of the bumper. The paint guy said they were both fine.

"rename this how to ruin a thread with the history of rice"

- great idea! I grew up in Louisiana, the greatest rice growing region on Earth. I grew up eating a lot of it, and have since broadened my long grain penchant from "each grain must stand to itself" to short grains, stickiness, vinegar, etc....

Just whatever you do: DON'T be a rice re-heater. There are penalties.

Back to the lenses -- we will - OF COURSE - need some nice pics when they are installed. Before & After would be good.

Interesting. When I visited Shanghai in the mid-1980's, I learned that when Western tourists in restaurants ordered rice with their dinner, they unknowingly displaying their lack of class, because the elite would never be caught eating "peasant" food with their meal in public.

As for a clear lens? No thank you.

Here is a pic.

Now what is so bad about these ? They will never fit on a Honda or Nissan. So why get so bent out of shape over clear and red. Plus I like Sake- Ginjo of course!.

Of course if you wait patiently, 33 years of sun will fade the color right out of those plastic lenses.
