Here's the website;

www.diasio.com

The car you rode in was probably the non-R version. Still a great machine, but the R's are fundamentally different. The short list is;

-Fabcar designed and built chassis
-windscreen is exact replica of Porsche 962
-under 1200 lbs wet
-Mazda Renesis rotary, 255 hp, under 5 lbs per hp
-Hewland FTR200 6 speed sequential transmission, the same one used in F3, F3000, Formula BMW etc...
-Formula Atlantic spec Hossier slicks, 10 and 14 inches wide.

Taking delivery of chassis #8 soon, of ten cars in the initial production run.

By the way, my heavily modified 930 (that's getting replaced by the Diasio) is for sale over on the cars for sale section here,

Street/Track 930

I drove one in a driver's school a couple years back. It helped lead me to the fun of running an engine behind you on a road course. My ride was the earlier bike engined ones with sequential trannies. I've never completely let the idea of owning one in the future leave my head.

I'm sure your going to love the speed/cost ratio.

The R is a killer. There are a couple of Diasios that run in the local Nasa events and they're amazing. I've thought of one for the race car step.
