That looks kind of heavy. The balance of the car is way off now I bet. JK

Looks Sharp!

Very handsome. I love the look of those 60s Porsche racing crests.

The edge thickness is feathered down to next to nothing, such that airflow over the hood is not appreciably disturbed. In addition, the recommended installation procedures call for removing an equal amount of weght from the front of the vehicle. This is usually accomplished by adjusting the fuel load.

You can get them from fellow Pelicanite, John Colasante.

If you REALLY wanted to save some weight, you could delete the vinyl and print directly on the hood.

Matt,
I am glad you still have that beast!!
I seem to think that you mentioned wanting to sell it a while back.. HAPPY you didn't that car is awesome!
I have two of the crests myself but I am waiting to get a fiberglass or the ultimate ALUMINUM hood before I use them..

Your light wt. informational tidbit for this thread:
- You have just saved 0.09 lbs. (43 grams)

(actually, that's more than one would think)

You've already address the steel hood, steel latch & reciever, and the metal horn grills (o some cars) -- right?
