hello all i hope someone can help!

i have a new momo model 07 steering wheel and momo hub part number 12112110230 and it does not fit on my car.

the car... a 74 911 s targa built 8-73

this pic shows that the mom hub will not fit all the way onto the steering column.

this picture shows my steering column

this picture shows my factory wheel

this picture shows the momo wheel hub

momo says this is the correct hub but you can see that the center of the momo hub is almost 1" longer that the factoy wheel. does anyone know what is going on? what is the correct hub for my 74 911.

Different momo part number for a '73 car/different column? I could maybe see Jim having a 73 column in that early of a build, but Anzures is a bit later in the model year. Just more Porsche forensics...

I just had the shop put on a Momo including a spacer. They did not indicate any issues. Give them a call and ask.... Black Forest...858 292 1192

Jim,

The bottom pic is the same as my 71. I'm not sure of the years but I think the one like you have is pre 74. It has the longer center. I'm looking for one if you get stuck with it...

I have a '74 and when I bought my Momo Prototipo from PP last year, I ordered the wrong hub adapter. I sent it back and got the correct hub adapter (there were two different hub adapters used in '74) and the correct one fits perfectly.
