front sway install
 

i have got a set of 87 carrera sway bars headed my way for my SC and i have been reading the horror stories of installing them. i refreshed all the bushings on my stock bars during my suspension rebuild so the sways are not greek to me.

my question is can i pull the pin out of the strut housing to ball joint, drop the a-arm, install the bushings (new for bigger bars) & sway bar and re attach the ball joint/strut pin with out messing up my alignment? it seems that it would not, as i am not going to touch the strut tower mounting, nor the tie rods.

is my assumption of not messing the alignment sound?
