Rear seatbelt installation again...Please?

I've done searches, but now I have pics for you to help me with--All I have to do is install four measly bolts but I can't figure out where. I bought lap belts for the rear--(kids)--and cannot feel any mounting holes under the carpet. Do I need to peel the carpet away? Would they be in the same place as in the pic of the '77? They're just lapbelts, for crying out loud. For those uninterested, I attached some fun shots to make it worth your while...Thanks for any help.
Christian.

What year is your car?
There should be some bolts/holes or something under the carpet. The carpet in your car looks like it has been replaced. Pull the carpet back and have a look. My understanding (very limited) is that there should be something there to install the seat belts onto.

lap belts

The holes are there! In my 73 model currently without lap belts there is a plug in the hole. I suggest poking in the same are as the lap belts in the photo you show that does have the belts. It is possible they went right over the "plugs" when they recarpeted. Have you looked from under the car to see any obvious holes or plugs where the holes should be?

I looked in the wheel well and only saw a half sphere about the size of half a super ball..is that it? My 911 is a '70. I guess I'll pull the carpet up. It's supposed to be original according to the PO but oh well. Thanks for your help to this point.
