UPDATE FOR NY/NJ/CT FUN RUN on May 1, 2005
Hey guys,
I am going to make an executive decision. The run will be on MAY 1, 2005 AT 9:30 A.M. That's a Sunday, and the weather will be perfect (Hopefully). I figure the meeting point will be on the Palisades Pkwy, as usual, by exit 5 just on the NY side. There is a gas station that sits in the middle of the highway, with all amenities and a commuter lot. From there, and at about 10:00 or 10:15, we will shoot North, and find a great way to end up at the Mountain Brauhaus in New Paltz. Right now, I only have 2 or 3 emails confirming attendance. PLEASE EMAIL ME AT JBRIPPS@AOL.COM and give me your ride info. if you plan to attend. That way, we can get an idea as to numbers on attendance, and who to wait for. Enjoy the warmer weather, and get that car washed!! Oh, and posted this on the other boards too..... Regards,

I need to put the guages back in as they were planned to go to NH but alsoa that's on jold until I start working again (was laid off in Nov.)

you guys are killing me....
ok, we've been looking for a 67-73.5 911e or s, but the right car hasn't come along (it has been 18 months of looking) and now you want to do this drive 5 miles from my house....really, we are at exit 2 off the palisades. so, how would you feel about a 67 saab sonett tagging along, or a mercedes benz 230sl?? I figure we will meet up at the starting point and drool over all your fabulous cars....maybe by next year we will be able to join in -Lewis & Judy Eig Haworth, NJ

Update here. This is definitely going to be another big turnout. One member is bringing 10 to 12 other cars alone! He wants to know if bringing 4 or 5 ferraris and a lambo is ok....I told him "why not" as long as Porsches dominate, and they don't try to show us up....ha. I hope everyone is OK with that, they are not "cowboys." Anyhow, I think we're at around 30 so far. Gonna be a great day, and hopefully the weather will cooperate. IF YOU HAVE NOT EMAILED ME, AND ARE PLANNING ON ATTENDING, please shoot me a quick email to Jbripps@aol.com indicating that. I'm trying to keep a head count. Does anyone have an address for the Brauhaus? Thanks

Now that we've got a few runs under our belts, I'd submit we distribute an e-mail prior to the run so guys can print out the route, 'best-engineering-guesses' for when-we'll-be-where in case folks would like to join en-route or get seperated, and a few cell #'s exchanged at the parking lot. Looking forward to seeing you all again and bs-ing with some folks that "get it".
