Pop-off Valve? (Air-pressure release)
OK here is the scenario.
3 weeks ago the car was pulled out of storage and started the first time with out any hesitation. Now, after sitting, the car would not start. Turned over, but would not fire. The first place I looked, was in the air-box and noticed the POV was not seated correctly. I put it back into place and it took a while (had to turn over ~7 more times) and eventually came back to life. The question is, would the POV not being seated properly in the air-box cause the bad cold start? Second what is the best epoxy or glue to make sure it stays in place? Yes, an improperly seated popoff valve would cause an air leak, which would make your mixture too lean and cause the poor cold start.
Try to find an epoxy that will take the heat. I think JB weld would do it.

Like paul said, JB will do the job. Try not to get carried away with using it. Run a thick coat around the POV, upper half. Also use a little acid brush and run a ring around the top side of the air box, When you goto put it in, Just before it seats, give a small side to side twist..... good luck.

It seems JB weld was used originally as there is a silver/grey film on it now. I think i have some JBW in my garage so i will give that a try.
