removing steering wheel from 74-911
done it on my 69 and others but want to be sure
how do you remove horn pad on a 74. does it twist off like on my 69.? and then just the usual pulling to remove the wheel. i,ll say thanks now cause i know someone knows. |

I just removed the steering wheel from my 1975 911S and the center section "pops" off. If it's the same steering wheel then it's held on by four points on the body of the wheel. From there it's easy. Disconnect the wire, remove the center bolt and pull off. I could send pictures tonight if you like.
