Engine Build Complete (Lotsa Pix)
 

About six months ago my engine was making a funny noise and upon inspection I found two dowel pins loose in the case. With the help of this board and Mr. John Walker, the problem was correctly diagnosed as a loose intermediate shaft gear. So apart it came and with the help of our hosts book and the awesome guys at Ollies Machine, it's back together and working well. While I certainly prefer to be driving my 911, I really did enjoy this process. Thanks to all that helped including: Porcupine, Pelican Parts, Ollies, EBS, and my understanding wife! :D

Where's the pic of you in the engine bay? Or is this not your first engine drop??

LOL! This is not my first drop. That, and I worked solo most of the time so I missed the opportunity for the engine bay pic.

I'm going to have to do my first engine drop this summer sometime.... There will be pics. ;)
