Stone Grey Metallic Paint Code

I'd like to confirm a paint code for an 87/88 930 Turbo paint color: Stone Grey Metallic. I've been given two answers by two sources and I'm sure many of you know the correct answer. This is what I have been told:

or

U8

Please advise.

The bad news is they show an entirely diffferent paint code for you color.

That color name is not listed in Morgan's Original Porsche 911

Type in por for manufacture, and u8 in aux code and you come up with STEINGRAU MET

Peter Morgan's book lists Stone Grey metallic for '89s on page 107 as #693. It's not listed for 87/88's though.
