Suspension squeak

I feel like a dork for asking this....but this car is new to me and the suspension is unlike anything I've ever owned before.

There is a squeak (like a bed spring) in the front left suspension. I can push it up and down in the driveway and it'll just squeak to beat the band. Removed the wheel to look it over....nothing looks out of place.

Any ideas what I might look for?

TIA

Aaron

Do a search for suspensionn bushings or control arms. Your bushings are likely shot, and you may have a metal to metal rub (but that is not a certainty).

I had a squeak on the right side, sprayed silicone on rubber bushing all of them and litho grease, DO NOT get any on your rotors. It took a couple of times and its gone.

Also could be ball joint, take a hose and hold it up to your ear and put it near each part of the suspension as you push down, and you should isolate where the noise is coming from.

Dont feel like a dork for asking. This is the only place you can !

Interestingly, I had exactly the same squeek in my R front .. I was about ready to rip the whole assembly to pieces but I tried this :

1) Adjust the ride height bolt by turning the bolt 180 degrees cw
2) bounce the suspension up n down a couple of times
3) adjust the ride height bolt back to where it was before (ccw 180 deg )

Don't have a CLUE why this sorted out the squeek but I am not complaining !

( Just hope this post hasn't jinxed me ! )
