running wires to door speaker

Has anyone run new wires to the door speakers? How easy is it? I have an 83 SC.

I have an 83 sc as well. It's easy from the radio going towards the door. You'll have to remove the a/c hose/duct at the floorboard and you'll have access to the "hole" on the side of the floor. You can the pass these wires thru there(alot of elbow work) thru the grommet that carries the other wiring to the door electrics. Also, you can work backwards from the door (remove the inside door panel to gain easier access and thread the wires thru the door grommet. Repeat on other door the same way

(I did this for JBL door speakers and the alarm system electric door lock actuators. Not hard but time consuming!
