SWB front suspension

Hi guys hope someone can shed some light on this issue.

What year did the SWB 911 start using the same front strut top as the later 911s. ie the bit that has three holes in it for camber and caster adjustment.

Looks like this

thanks

Michael

I think a change in them was made in '73 or late '73. Other than the monoball in the one pictured the earlier ones look just like the one pictured. I just shipped one to a fellow pelican in San Diego. I shipped one to pelican member elombard back around x-mas and it would not work on his late 73 car.

The change was made on the 1966 models that were made after 11/65 . After that they are exactely the same all the way to 1989 except for the 89` C4 . Yes turbo models too .
