Interior pics of my car as promised

Dear all,

In my previous post someone asked me about the interior of my car.
Instead of replying to my own post (subj: first time picture post for comments please , by yours truly), I'll make a new post here.
Picture quality is not great as is my car's interior, but I'm getting there.
Comments are very much appreciated.
Wooden Nardi wheel is getting covered in black alcantara leather to better colormatch the rest of the interior and of course for a better grip...

G

There re-upholstered by one of the POs.
Seats are ok but the cracks (Haha, I said "but the cracks", I kill myself) in the dash (Cali sun...) are a pain in the a*s.
Cartpets are also faded so I'll be renewing them soon.
Door sills, hate them too, need money, need time, so much things to still do, aaaarrggh.

geron,
if the carpet is orignal, but in good shape otherwise, you might consider removing and re-dyeing them? i think i've heard of good results from doing so. i got the usual little crack in the mid dash area too, but am thinking of trying darryld's trick with black liquid electrical tape as a careful filler to make it at least 75% looking..

If I was on the "USS Porscheterprise" I would have to say that the structural integrity of the carpets has been compromised...
Some parts are torn and since they have been glued, they will be difficult to remove without ripping them even more. For the dash I'm doubting between a dash replacement or a cover.
I prefer the new dash of course but I have no idea of the work it would be. Covers tend to be cheaper as well.

geron,
yep, sounds like 'the shields are down'..best to replace that carpet. it's a bear to replace the dash i believe..front window has to come out and they are incredibly fragile and prone to breaking, even if a good glass shop handles that chore..tough call. consider lotter tickets and make it a moot point..
