993 headlights - Dual H1's?
Can someone verify that 993 headlights use 2 sets of H1 bulbs for me? (One set as Hi, one for Lo).
Also, does anyone know of a lens to fit a "normal" 911 that takes 2 independant bulbs instead of a dual filament H$? Thanks in advance. Jeremy |

Yes, the 993 has two separate bulbs per light. The lowbeam bulb is in the round projector assembly, and the high bulb is in the center of the lens that sits below the projector. The lows are definitely H1s, but I'm not sure about the highs.

Thanks! Thats what I thought. I need (I guess want actually) to run HID's in my car. Of course the HID's arent available in dual stage at a decent price. So I want to go to a Dual Bulb headlight system. If I was just going to convert to 993 style lights for HID's it wouldnt be worth it, but since I am doing a body conversion anyhow, it shouldnt be a big deal.
