911 Turbo roller + 3.6 varioram... Does it make sense?
A naive question for the experts:
Would it be relatively straightforward to put a 3.6L motor in a 1989 Turbo with a blown engine? If so, does this sound like a good option vs putting in a rebuilt turbo motor? Any ideas of what the approximate cost of each option would be? Thanks!

It can be done if you have the conversion flywheel, the codes for the brain and all the electrical....AND have all the right smoggable exhaust to get past the CARB referee....

It can be done, but I think I'd rebuilt the turbo. Bigger and badder.
