Unless you have messed with nitro cars before stay away from that beast one curb or car and that thing will be pretty messed up. Get a monster truck, stadium truck, or a buggy they are much tougher and can be just as fast. I have X-Cellerator stadium truck that does over 50 mph (it's all gearing) and I have jumped many times over 15 feet in distance and over 5 feet high and that's just on the street.
Just get a porsche body and you're set!

Eh, just dont hit a curb. RC cars are fun and easy to drive. The yokomo is a good chassis. Not the best, but good. I was racing a nitro touring car when i was 14, and 50 mph was no big deal. The engines put out just over 1 hp and rev to about 36,000 RPM.
Monster trucks are cool, but they wont go as fast.

Go for it!!!!
I have a Traxx Nitro GT-2. Juiced a bit, radar gun says 78 mph. Fun to play with if you can find enough concrete.
