Steering Rack seems a little rough...
I have noticed that when turning sharp, either way, the wheels dont straighten out much like they used to upon exiting the turn. I have to physically turn the wheel back to straighten...
is there any rememdey other than yanking the steering rack and replacing with a rebuilt one? thanks

You could grease the rack, but the rack may not be the cause. You have to check all the components for wear, loose fasteners, and lubrication.

Lift the front wheels off the ground and see how tight it is to turn (via the roadwheel) from lock to lock. If it feels tight remove the steering u/j from inside the smugglers box, and try again. If its easy to turn now(again, from the roadwheel) then the problem is a siezing steering u/j. If it is still tight then it is either the rack itself or a sticking/binding track rod end or lower ball joint.
