930 Torsion bar sizes recommendation
I am looking for some reccomendations on upgrading the torsion bars in my 930. Car will be mostly used on the street. The engine has all the usual bolt on upgrades but suspension is still all stock. I would know what to do with a 911 but this is quite a bit heavier car.
Thanks, Phil |

Hi Phil:
For an otherwise stock or mildly modified 930 that will be street driven, I use the tubular Sander Engineering bars in 22mm/30mm sizes for these cars. Other good combos are 22mm/31mm and 22mm/33mm for track useage with 400 HP or more.

Steve,
Thanks as always for the advice. This car has a G50 and about 375 HP, I don't mind a stiffer ride the stock torsions are way too soft. The car has been lowered substainally and has 18" kinesis wheels with 225 and 285/30 tires Phil |

Make sure that you have shocks that match the increased spring rates,....
