For the SC guys, enjoy!

I was in a larger town today, and saw that lovely all original SC. About 100K miles, notice only one rearview mirror.
It falls in the "I'm so weird I can only be beautiful" category. I love it!

Clean looking! I like brown. Wonder what happened to the marker lights?

Mine also came with one mirror (RoW) and I just had to add one to help negotiate SoCal traffic.

In Europe no marker lights until 1983.
It felt good to see a completely unmolested car. I had daydreams of me driving up a pass at a leisurely pace with the top off an my wife in the pass seat, looking at the mountains without emphasis on speed (for once).

Well, I'm guessing closer to '81 was the first year for marker lights.

Terry, Yup, rather 81 than 83. Can't remember for sure.

I've always liked the cookie cutters too. I would assume that the "Factory 4x4 height" is the regular European ride height. They never had to be raised to meet the US bumper laws.
