"Please note North Carolina Title states Rebuilt"
What the heck does that mean? Doesn't sound good! Maybe the car was wrecked once? |

Well, it's kinda a nice looking clone.....at least the person is honest enough to admit it's a clone.
Some people need to spend alot of money to learn....but then again there is a sucker born every minute. ![]()

Nice looking car, but not that $ nice. What does the NC title says 'rebuilt' mean? That lends itself more along the lines it was a previous wreck?

Same as Salvage title? In CA there is a Salvage Title and even worse the Salvage Cirtificate. Different levels of inspections to return to roadworthy but, renewed titles will always be noted as Salvage.

Yes, it's a variant of a salvage title. The 3.2 I just picked up has the same type of title.

In North Carolina, I believe that a "rebuilt" title means that the vehicle was damaged at one time, and issued a salvage title, and an owner "unsalvaged" it by repairing/replacing whatever was wrong. However, I do not know what level of repair or proof is required by the State, and therein lies the risk.
