Still fightin' this eh Ryan? These kinds of problems can be a challenge for sure! I don't remember right off hand where the wire that goes to that switch originates, but it is paralleled with the wire from the passenger side at some point. It should be a brown wire with a white stripe. You may want to get a piece of solid wire (the white strand out of a piece of Romex house wire works great) and form a hook on the end and go fishing. Hopefully, the missing wire is merely pulled up out of sight and can be retrieved. Since your passenger side switch turns on the dome lights, the missing wire shouldn't be far.

OK, wiring can be easy even in tight places.
A metal coat hanger also works for making a good wire-fishing hook. If you need to run a new wire try taking a ball chain, like one that goes around your neck with a dog-tag (36" + would be good). Then get one of those mechanics extendable magnets, the thin one that looks like a car antenna. Drop the chain in the hole from above, stick the magnet in from the hole below and pull out the chain (don't pull it all the way out until you attach the wire to the other end). Attach the wire around the end of the chain and pull the chain through. Simple. A "wet noodle" is a tool I commonly use in my industry:

the wire comes from under the side of the dash and just hangs down into that void in the lower A pillar. find the wire up top and move it around until you see it pass the switch hole. a flashlight helps. snag it with a small stiff wire bent into a short hook and pull it through the hole.
