70S Targa or 70E Coupe??

One more car has to go. I can either sell the S to help fund the E's restoration, or vise versa. Whichever one I keep will be restored to a driver, not a show car. Please help me decide! A little about each car:

70S Targa – Originally silver. Rust bucket and major project. I like the fact that it’s a targa, but don’t really want an S to cruise around town in. However, I have no problem shelving the original engine and installing something else.

70E Coupe – mostly rust free and complete, but needing complete mechanical restoration and paint. Originally a sporto converted to 5sp. Has AC. I love the color (tangerine), like the AC, and would probably convert back to sporto.

What would you do?

I'd go for the E coupe, but that's just me. I like the lines of a coupe better than the Targa. But I'm a spoiled brat. I have a 911 coupe, and a (non-Porsche) convertable.

Sell them both and buy one that is already in better shape.

How much time do you have and how are you at repairing rust? From what I understand they both need mechanicals but the S also needs some rust repair. I think it also boils down to do you want a targa or a coupe. Depending on the price of coarse you may have an easier time selling the coupe. Most don't want to deal with the rust issues.

I just saw in your sig line that you already have a 73.5 coupe so I would keep the targa. One of each would be nice. I plan on picking up another targa when I get the chance. Just don't tell my wife.
