Original Porsche 911 Book color info needed
Anyone know about the car on page 40 of the the book Original Porsche 911 expanded edition. What color is the car. They dont list it which is not to smart. Light Yellow or Signal Yellow. Was Saturn yellow a 73 911 color.

That color is Light Yellow on my 77. I think it is paint code 117.
Saturn Yellow is shown by www.paintscratch.com as a 73 color. It is shown as code L13M. Their sample, however, looks like both my car and the one you refer to in the book. In fact the light yellow shown by them doesn't look at all like my color. No Saturn Yellow is shown for 77. Confused? I am. The best I can come up with is that a PO repainted my car in Saturn yellow, which I have matched over the years, while retaining the 117 color plate on the chassis. If I were you I guess I would go w/ paintscratch's number, since that is a 73 color, and it looks like the pic.
