87 sway bars in an SC

I have a line on some sway bars from an 87 Carrera for my SC. Got to thinking though: 87's have a G-50 tranny and different torsion bars in back. Probably means that the rear sway bars would not work.
Am I right or wrong on my thinking?

Talk to k911sc. He just got Carrera sways for his SC. I don't think the tranny will make a difference.

It works (as far as I've heard- I picked up a set for my SC). I think the G50 bars hang down a little lower (to clear the larger tranny) so it would not look stock to someone who really knows what to look for. You'll need the correct size bushings.

Which I would guess would be for the 87 Carrera.

Yes. You use the same mounting brackets / hardware so just need to change the bushings for the larger diameter bar.
