Well today is the day my old friend goes to Aurba. I will miss her, although the new owner says I can come go for a ride and I'll probably take him up on the offer if he is around the island when I visit this fall.
Enjoy Kasi, Here are a couple pics as she is loaded today and one of the lonely girl she left behind. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yes, Aruba, Aruba. One of the guys from this forum is getting her, glad she'll still be in the family.
The cobra has been a fun build. Obviously a replica but just as much fun as an original.

It looks like the new owner got a great car. SC chrome trim and a 3.2. Nice.
But that Cobra is off the charts!!!

Never understood why Cobra's that don't even have tops have windshield wipers, as they obviously won't be driven in the rain. DOT regulation?

I must have missed the road(s) in Aruba where you could actually enjoy a sportscar, unless he turns it into a rally machine.

Actually, yeah, you will. It will drip down the inside of the windshield, gush through openings in the firewall and door gaps, and blow in from behind. We're talking early 50's tech here (AC Ace) and back then, I don't think a lot of thought was given to keeping the vehicle's occupants dry with the top down. Here's us (blue car) on Galena Pass in Idaho a few years back. You think, in our wildest dreams, we thought we'd run into snow in June? This same trip we drove about 130 miles in the pouring rain from Seattle to almost Yakima. Sometimes you gotta do it. ![]()

Just needed the room, but your guys are right I will be back at some time.
RichM it's a Factory Five Kit, out of Massachusetts. Pretty good bunch to deal with and plenty of technical help on the ffcobra.com forum. There are alot of good folks there as well. I'll keep lurking about as you never know when somebody is going to want to make a deal. PS Leyland, I will still wear my many SCWDP teeshirts...
