Oil Change All Good

So decided to change the oil as I had no idea when it was last done. Current mileage 144616. Drained no problem oil looked a bit cloudy but not too bad. Pulled old filter with use of screwdriver, let her drain out for half an hour. Re-installed drain plugs with new crush washers, installed new Mahle filter and filled her up with exactly 10 litres of Castrol GTX High Mileage 20w50. Ran her up to temp checked level bang on between the marks. Gave her a run and no oil leaks whatsoever. I am happy, will see how the Castrol holds up....

I would treat this as a way to flush the system after1-2k miles...

do a search on Castrol and look for the posts by Steve Weiner.
