What oil line is this?

I dropped my motor for a clutch change and found this hose was leaking. it looks like it has been repaird with a hose clamp in the past. When looking through the pelican site and other sources, I am having difficulty determining which line this is. It probably is obvious but as I am ordering a pressure plate bolt that we broke in replacing the clutch, I figured I would order this at the same time.

It looks like a sportomatic oil line... but obviously not if it's a turbo

I think the valve covers were changed out by the previous owner. It is definitely a 3.3 liter turbo engine. I am not sure why the valve covers were done as such - my guess is as a cheap replacement for those that leaked. I don't have the engine number in front of me but it starts with 930.........

What did the open end connect to?

I don't know much about Turbo motors but on my 3.0 the only oil lines that are that diameter are breather hoses and they are in that general vicinity...but don't have a flare/nut fitting or any hard sections.. All of my lines that carry oil in or out are significantly larger in diameter.

I think it connects the oil tank to the oil pump for the turbo. the hardline on the engine traverses the front of the engine
