Plexiglass scratch remover

The plexiglass rear window on my convertible top is scratched
and hazed. Isn't there a product that removes and restores
the luster?? Thanks in advance!!

Meguires makes a a few products for this purpose, Plastic Cleaner #17 followed by the Plastic Polish #10. I don't have the name/# of the maintainer. It's also relabeled and offered through Mercedes dealers and sold for aviation purposes as well.

Zymol makes an excellent product.

If in the UK try: http://www.hindsight.uk.com/

I'm an aircraft mech,on the passenger windows, which are plastic,we use a polishing kit made by MICRO-SURFACE finishing products @1-800-225-3006.The kit consists of a series of different grit sandpaper.Easy to use and does an excellent job.

Try the Meguiars products first. They're pretty good. If the scratches are really, really bad, either take the car to a detailer, or but yourself a Porter -Cable random orbit polisher and use it with some plastic polish. It works wonders.

You can do this to you windshield, too, and make it a little more crystal-like.
