MIG welding exhaust while on 84

I've got to tack on an exhaust outlet while it's on the car.

Will I fry any electricals or my brain?

Disconnect battery cables as stated, keep ground clamp near where you are welding...

Ditto on the disconnected battery, I would remove both cables and make sure they are not laying anywhere on the metal of the car also. As previuosly stated keep your ground near to where you are welding. Good luck.
