plans for "factory style" chassis jig?
Does anyone have plans for making a "factory style" steel chassis jig? i am not talking about the rotisserie style, but the type you see at the old Porsche factory photos. They are usually made of steel square tubing and they have castors to roll around the car when the suspension is off.
Thanks |

I am sorry if I was confusing. I was not talking about a jig but maybe just a dolly. You know the kind that is ued to roll the chassis around when it has no suspension?

I made up a front crossmember out of square stock, with ears for locating, and adjustable hieght casters out at the end, this allows he shell to be low in the paintbooth, yet raise for rolling into a trailer and not scrubbing. On the rear, two seperate plate/wheels, which mount to the sway bar and one of swingplate bolts. the box design you are referring to would be an easy build, I choose my method for storage purposes when not in use. Will take a snapshot if you like.
