Question Welding and powdercoating???

I have JB Welded the stud back on (not expecting a miracle). If I was to have a new stud welded on properly would that foul up the beautiful powdercoating job?

Here's a photo to ponder while it dries....

I believe it would destroy any type of coating within a half inch or so around the weld, if using a mig and turned down low enough to get fusion, you might only have about a 1/4 inch of heat damage around it that could be "touched up" to make it not as noticeable. Good luck.
