What kind of oil line is this?

I noticed this when I bought the car and the seller didn't know either. It's a 1974 911S with a 911/93 engine. It's the one right above the jack in the foreground. I'm not too familiar with the mid-year cars yet and couldn't find it in any diagrams I have.

Standard engine to thermostat line found on all catalytic equipped 911s to ’89. Line required because right exhaust crosses over in back of engine.

It's a mid-year car. Is there a thermostat? If not, it runs from the tank.
You should upgrade to the tubo valve covers as well.

Ok, that makes sense because I was looking at the exhaust and noticed there was a catalytic converter in the system. That'll all be gone soon....

Thanks
