Do you have specifics on the configuration and/or history of the engine?

If it is a 962 engine with a flat fan complete 30-55k depending on condition and what configuration. 962s came with a carbon flat fan and shroud (dark) , 935's a fiber glass flat fan and shroud (yellow)..the complete flat fan set up is worth 15k alone

I think it would be useful to have the Id #. You would be able to reconstruct the history and compare the current condition/mods to the factory specs.
Having said that I have no idea of what these engines go for. There were a couple of threads here on the BBS about the flat fan setup and consensus seemed to value them at around 12-15 (like VZ935 said). The mkt for these special engines is failry illiquid. There is a limited supply, but also the demand is quite small. Good luck in any case... It looks like a fun set up. |

Uhhhhhh,.....we can repair those, no problem. Parts are available as long as one has a good source. ![]()

Andial built some of those engines back when the cars were still winning races, they may have sources for parts or may be able to ID a serial number.

Lots of people rebuilding these for vintage racing (like Steve mentioned), including Eric Bloss at Porsche Motorsport, Steve Becker (who assisted with my engine build), Neil Harvey at Performance Developments, etc. Ralph |
