My fuel pump died and it seems that to replace it will cost $500!!!
Pelican p/n C-608-110-02. 2.7 CIS I have replaced the original with a rebuilt that lasted 2 years. (don't want to do rebuilt again...) My question is: is there an alternative???? The pump resides on the bottom of the chassis, before the driver's side rear wheel. Can I do a SC pump or something aftermarket??? I need a pump!!!! Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I replaced mine on my 75 S with one from a 77. Its about half the price. You may need some adapting fittings but it works fine.

Noah, thanks for the move. Also, thanks JTO, I'll research it.
