These are a turbo valve covers yes? Was this stock issue on an 85 Carrera?

These are your stock covers. Yes, the lowers are the "turbo" covers.

The factory started installing the "turbo" covers on the SC. I am not sure if the early SC had it, but the later ones had them for sure.

Thanks George. So turbo covers only pertain to the lower covers and upper ones are standard and there is no such thing as an upper turbo cover?

Correct, gost. There are early covers that are magnesium and later ones that are aluminum. Often people replace the magnesium with aluminum, but there is no turbo name for the tops.
