Washington State group
I was talking with a friend the other night and she mentioned that she was invited by some guy to join him on a Porsche run involving about 40 P cars. Did anyone here go on that tour? Just curious.
Also, my friend who is in her forties moved in Tacoma last year and is looking for new friends. I heard that it's been raining up there for a week now so I'm curious if that P-tour event even got started. Anyway, RE: my friend, is single and looking, Professional Financial Analyst and lives in Gig Harbor. Not bad looking. "I Feel like i'm starting a Dating service here" Sorry guys this somewhat has to do with Porsche's. She said it was ok for me to forward her E-mail address if anyone were interested. I'm gonna get shot for this. Just doing her a favor.

Carl,
Point her in the direction of the Pacific Northwest board. We have many events in the Northwest and most of them are posted there. Also, she may want to check the Pacific Northwest PCA at www.pnwr.org. I believe the event last weekend was a PCA drive through the wine country. I was there for the morning send off and there were about 40 cars.

Send her to the Northwest section of the Pelican board, as well:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/pacific-northwest-us-wa-id-ut-hi-ak/ Seems like the WA state folks are most active there.

It's not pouring rain right now here... You can have her check the Northwest regional forum for runs and gathering date and times involving most of us who post here. Also there are several women p-car owner/drivers that are members of the PCA Northwest Region that are getting together on a regular basis

Well, I'm no longer married and so I'm accepting applications for several part-time, ummm, "positions." Several slots are still open.
I'm going to be attempting to dish out some whoopass at Bremerton Saturday in the S2 autocross class. If she drive a P-car, then I would strongly suggest she attend. Obviously the main benefit would be the opportunity to meet me, but also there are a few other (dozens actually) very nice folks, mostly male of course, and we have a real good time. Ear-to-ear grins for everyone. Oh, and we also get to spank our cars for sixty seconds at a time, four times plus "fun runs." And then, we often mosey down to a local establishment to share some additional camaraderie and some food and grog. This Saturday we may even have reasonable weather. So, sunshine, great people, sliding sideways with our cars and then laughs over beers. Hard to have more fun than that.

I didn't go this year but the drive east of the mountains to Eastern Washington is a fun one, especially along the Yakima river. There is a weekend tour down to the Oregon coast too that is nice in October on Columbus day weekend.

Carl, I don't have much to add besides what some of the others here have already said. Today was sunny and 80'. Tomorrow is suppose to be sunny and 82'. There is the Olympic Peninsula region and the Pacific Northwest region which she is just about in the middle of. I currently am moving from just North of Gig Harbor to South of Tacoma where I work. What kind of P-car does she drive? Have her look up either of the regions on the PCA site or send me a E-mail and I'll try to hook her up. We have a good track, PIR (Pacific Internation Raceway, formally SIR (Seattle Internation Raceway)) and Bremerton Autocross track and Driver education on a old runway that Superman mentioned. hahnmgh@earthlink.net

Autocross Saturday. Bremerton. I drive a brown SC in the S2 group if she wants to say hi and get some introductions. As I've said many times, I'm the tall, muscular athletic guy. (kidding)
