Re-sleeving cylinders?
I would like to take some 2.7 cylinders and have them resleeved to 2.8's and have them nickesiled, why is this not done more and is there a particular cylinder well suited for this? if you buy the mahle 2.8's they give you pistons that wont work with 2.4/2.7 heads so I figure to get some JE pistons to suit the cylinders......somebody tell me if this/me is stupid

Last fall I sold a single 904 cylinder on eBay. To my eye it was badly worn out. The buyer said he knew where he could get it bored out and re-nickesiled.
I'll check to see if I still have an e-mail for the guy. |
