Power Antenna no work

I have a power antenna in the right front fender that quit working after my engine R&R. Funny thing is I never touched that area of the car. Bentley and owners manual do not list any fuses or relays for this part, and I checked the fuses in the trunk and they're all good.

I found a red and a white wire that go from the antenna, through the firewall, and into the mess of radio wires. I realize that one wire from the radio is what activates the antenna when the radio is turned on, but surely there is a fuse or a fuseable link somewhere in my car that has blown. No?

If I can't find it I'll strip back the sheilding a little and power the antenna with small jumpers just to see if it works, but ,,,,,Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Do you have the radio on? The antenna receive a signal from the radio to either raise or lower.

Yes the radio is on. If I remember, only one wire (usually yellow or pink) sends the signal to the antenna. But where does the power for the antenna come from? And the fuse?

I actually think that power antennas are designed to break as soon as the car leaves the showroom floor! ;-)

The power to the antenna come from an unswitch terminal i.e. a terminal that supply constant power even if the ignition is turn off.
Look under the dash you should be able to find a connector that mates with the connector from the power antenna. If you have a trouble light you should be able to tell if the connector is live or dead. Fuse is back at the fuse box not unless someone install an in line fuse. Is this the original radio setup for the car or an aftermarket? If it an aftermarket, some PO or stereo installer probably butchered up the wiring.

Take a look under the windshield cowling on the passenger side of the car directly behind the passenger side trunk hinge/strut. My SC ('82) came with a harness for the power antenna. If yours has it, there should be three wires that connect to the power antenna.....one is a ground, the other is power, and the third wire is the one that connects to the antenna trip wire of your radio. If your car originally had a power antenna, it has the harness. If it's disconnected, there should be three plastic-shrouded spade connectors resting in the area under the windshield cowling on the passenger side. It will greatly simplify your wiring issues.

Is that in the trunk, or in the driver's compartment? And the power is not fused even though it's factory? Can this be true?
