I disconnected my buzzer due to the godafa noise. Peace and quiet. Now I've left my keys in the car a couple of times. I'm sure I was thinking of something really important.
Is there an alternative chime or bell like replacement? Thanks

Thanks, I have some fear of electrical work. I was able at my skill level to unplug the buzzer and leave it behind the dash.
If I can find something, is it a simple install, like match wires and crimp? How about a buzzer from a newer P-car?

I bought a chime from radio shack for another car I owned. I wired it to buz when I hit the lock/unlock button on the key fob so I could hear when my doors locked/unlocked. To hook it up, it's a simple red and black wire. you should be able to splice it in by crimping on spades that fit into the socket the old buzzer used. That would make it removable also. I have never looked at the buzzer in my pcar though, so I don't know exactly what the buzzer looks like. Do you have a picture of it?
