Oil Flow Problems

After a recent top end rebuild the oil flow to the left side camshaft seems inadequate. After removing all valve covers for inspection, the wells in the left rocker arms are almost dry compared to the right side which are full. I am also getting some intermittent mechanical noises from the left side which I suspect are oil related.

So far I removed the spark plugs and cranked the engine. Flow was evident from all holes on the spray bar shooting out maybe 1/2-3/4". The spray bar was not removed during the rebuild so the orientation should be fine. One set of holes are pointing up at 12:00.

Oil pressure is too high and think I may have gotten the wrong spring for the relief valve. It's running over 5 bars at 2000 rpm and at operating temperature. Pressure is normal at idle at 1 1/2 bars. It seems that if this was causing the problem, it would also occur on the right side.

Any thoughts.
