Battery Box Maintenance
I have cleaned all white corrosion residue from my battery box. What is the best process and product to prevent future rust and corrosion?
Thanks in advance,

Search "POR 15" and go from there. Really. A worthy product. BTW, there are similar products out there, but if you use POR 15, you'll know you got the real deal. And it's tough stuff. Read the part about not getting it on your skin. I have used substitutes with good results. Like I said, if in doubt.........

By cleaning you meant, “neutralizing” too? Commercial product or just baking soda, water, brush on, let sit, rinse off. You can tell when done because it stops fizzing. POR 15 is great for protection but the “white stuff” will come back unless the battery is vented properly and the charging system is working properly.
