Engine Insulation Pad
Anyone out there gone with the replacement engine replacement pad...the reflective silver backed version? Any trouble with install? ...would seem fairly easy I suspect.
Just ordered one to replace my sagging, sorry original and hope I spend the $100 wisely...oh well..gotta be better than this... Had to throw in a money shot with the new plates...think this fits the new addition rather well...IMHO at least! Anyone else got a good one they want to share? Steve ![]()

I have the foil backed sound pad. I cannot tell the difference from the factory one (noise and heat reduction) but the engine compartment looks alot better.
Install was easy, I had the engine out when I replaced mine. I did replace the one in my '72 with the motor in place. It took some work but in can be done.
