Will this make 210Hp?
I was reading Doug's thread on Early hot rods, and saw that one of the cars on there was a 2.4S that changed the P&C and made it a 2.7
Question: Can I change the P&C on my 2.4T to make it a 2.7 and about 200 or 210hp or does more need to be done? I think that I would be happy with 190hp, anything over the 155hp I have now. Car in Question ![]()

With RS pistons and cylinders or equivalent, yes.
However, you'll have to enlarge the crankcase spigots to accept the larger cylinders, so it's not exactly a bolt-on upgrade. S cams and modified MFI are also needed. Your port sizes should also be enlarged to S-equivalent; not sure about valve size. This upgrade is described in B. Anderson's book as well as Waynes rebuilding manual. With machine work, gaskets and new parts, you're looking at around 4 thou.; add someone's labor to D&A. Sherwood |

Valve size is the same. You will need to recurve the distributor.
