Looking for more pics
I'm looking for pics of this car or one just like it to help me decide what to do with my Fuchs. Great looking car but I have only found one picture of it. I think that it came from Pelican but not sure.
![]() Here are a couple of mine, if I put the fuchs back on I'll use the flag mirrors and the no tail decklid. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Still trying to decide if I want to polish the centers of my fuchs or paint them for a stock look. Ultimately I'll do what I want but I'm open to ideas or opinions ![]() Last edited by niner11; 05-27-2005 at 08:28 PM.. |

Polished look great on a black car - aka Jack Olsen.

Maybe completely polished or anodized - all silver. Just different enough.

I really like them polished, but I think the polished ones look the best on the cars with the chomed window trim.
I have a black 87 and my Fuchs are starting to look a bit ratty, so I am in the same boat as you. One thing I haven't seen much of is to keep them black, and change out the centers for ones with crests that match the hood ornament. That might look sweet. I do think the stock look black Fuchs are pretty bland as they came.

since you are removing the aero mirriors and going back to flags, are the aero mirrors electric? Do you want to get rid of them? i was looking at eventually putting them on mine.

Thanks for the pics. As for the mirrors, I'll probably keep them at least for a while.

On a dark car, I love them just the way I got them.

Sherman, that early black 911 with the RSR wheel finish looks great. I wonder if you can do that with a light sandblasting.
This black 911 is probably representative of what I'm looking at doing but with stock bumpers ![]() |
