Battered and Bleeding but the road warrior survives

The bugs however did not. 565 miles of Idaho, Oregon and WA roads later it is time for a wash. No need for a wind tunnel when you have miles of grass hoppers to check out the air flow.

I know what you mean. Allways seems every single bug in the neighbourhood suddenly get this unavoidable urge to commit suicide against your vehicle...

Time for a "whats the most effective chemical to get rid of them-thread"?

Just be glad you don't live in Florida and they aren't love bugs. Within 36 hours their insect "spirits" would be forever bonded to that beautiful new paint job.

I drove from Austin to Phoenix and back a couple years ago in my Tiburon, and ended up with my front end plastered in bugs.

It took me THREE HOURS to clean it all off!! I'm getting a bra the next time I do a serious road trip!!

Ya just gotta love 3m plastic products

All clean and pretty now and a documented 24 miles to the gallon over 569 miles and just barely one quart of Mobil One in 3000 miles. I am beginning to appreciate the 3.6.
