Carreric, RS pistons? I have always read that the dome shape was wrong for CIS. That is really cool if they work for you, but I thought that high compression JE's were the way to go with CIS.

hal,
that's what i'd always been told. it would be a great data point though if carreric dynoed his car to add to the argument. i'm wondering how either of those piston sets would perform with an efi conversion on a 2.7 motor. member tbitz' conversion is ~ $1600 and people who've put it on their 2.7 have had excellent reports..

I have a friend with a 83 SC he just finished cpmplete rebuild with 964 grind, big intakes, euro fuel distributor, ssi's, etc etc... all the upgrades. With a worried look on his face - He is always asking our mechanic why my car is so fast for a 2.7..... :D
